25 hours cancellation must be given by phone/text – and received confirmation from Vocal Tuition, otherwise you will forfeit the lesson fees for that lesson. An alternative booking can be made with sufficient warning within the next fortnight without danger of forfeit. There is exemption from any liability.

If you have cold/flu-like symptoms, or have been in close contact, please stay home. Your lesson will be moved online. Notification is required before the lesson begins.

Students who begin to miss an average of more than 20% of their classes in a calendar year will be given the opportunity to find a better available time slot, or to discontinue regular lessons and contact Colleen to book a lesson, as/when desired, at her earliest availability.

Students need to download, complete, and sign this contract and bring it to your next class. Download Contract Here, or at the bottom of the website.

  • Have travelled abroad in the last 30 days.
  • Been in contact with anyone who has Covid-19 in the past 30 days.
  • Or have been in a high-risk area in the past 30 days.

Notification must be made, and your scheduled lesson will automatically move to online.

Student Flow

  • Please enter through the opened sliding door on the right-hand side near the BBQ area, and wait in the main area before your lesson begins. You may only sit on the leather sofa provided.
  • Enter into the studio at the top end, and when your lesson is finished, exit out of the bottom door and out through the open door at the back of the waiting area.

Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Everyone from the age of 12 must wear a mask. Masks may be removed for singing only.
  • Use the hand sanitizer supplied near the entry as soon as you walk in.

Environmental Management and Cleaning

  • Surface areas will be cleaned in-between each student.
  • Use individual towels if using the bathroom, and leave them in the little basket on the floor.

Record-Keeping

  • Use the Vocal Tuition’s QR code to check in. If you are unable to, a record of attendance will be made for students only, and anybody accompanying that student that is unable to check in with the QR code, cannot enter the premises.

This plan will be reviewed regularly to ensure it reflects the current processes and procedures of Vocal Tuition current legislation requirements and public health directives. The plan will be reviewed on or before the beginning of term one 2022.
